On Friday, 1/17/2025 Pearl Community Theatre presented the competition one act the "Act of Living" by LazyBee Scripts at the 2025 Mississippi Theatre Association Festival in Meridian, MS. 

The show was directed by Clay Kirkland and featured 9 actors and 3 crew. 

Pearl Community Theatre received the Warren McDaniel Award for Best Production and advanced to the Southeastern Theatre Conference in March 19-i22 n Baltimore, Maryland for the show "Act of Living". 

We also received the following recognitions: 

• Best Ensemble

• Best Scenic Design

• Best Onstage Chemistry - Vance Woodall and Taylor Harris

• Outstanding Achievement in Acting - Alison Stafford
